Workshop on the Role of Photovoltaic Solar Energy in Promoting Projects in the Agricultural Sector in Tunisia

As part of the study conducted to integrate photovoltaic solar energy into the agricultural sector and in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation, the National Agency for Energy Control organized a workshop today, June 25, 2024, in the capital, on the role of photovoltaic solar energy in promoting projects in this sector. This study is part of the energy transition project acceleration program in Tunisia, "TETA."

During this workshop, similar experiences in Spain, France, and Italy were presented. The national legislative frameworks governing the renewable energy and agriculture sectors were also presented. Representatives from the Agency and various structures of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, as well as representatives from the Ministry of State Property and Land Affairs, participated in this workshop
